Create your own insurance package
We’re not just changing insurance by offering a completely digital experience on your smartphone. We’re also revolutionising the structure of insurance. You should only pay for what you need and insure what you want to insure for as long as you require the cover.
To offer this to our customers, we work with various policy add-ons, known as extensions. This creates a modular structure for insurance – enabling you to build an insurance package that covers your needs.
Find extensions that suit you
Whichever insurance policy or policies you purchased with Getsafe, it’s always best to add extensions via the Getsafe app. You can do this at any time – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you haven’t installed the app yet, then simply download it, and register with the email address you used when purchasing your insurance policy.
How it works:
- Open the Getsafe app
- Click on any of your active insurance policies
- Scroll down
- Here, you can view all available extensions for your policy
Why should you opt for extensions?
Extensions enable you to tailor your protection to your current circumstances. What do you need now – and what don’t you need? Perhaps your bike was vandalised? There’s an extension for that. Maybe you broke your ceramic cooking hob? Contents insurance has an extension for that too. Or what if your landlord or a neighbour is giving you grief? Adding the Home extension for Getsafe Legal covers you for these types of situations. And if your circumstances change tomorrow, you’ve got nothing to worry about. You can cancel your policies or extensions at any time.
