How do consultations work at Getsafe?

1. Digital consultations

You book an appointment via the app and get automatic appointment reminders. You don’t have to leave your house for the consultation; your Getsafe consultant will contact you by phone video call.

In a video call, your consultant can share their screen and provide additional info like visuals. You talk in detail about your needs and ask all the questions you want.

2. Digital quotes and signature

You’ll receive a notification via app as soon as your consultant has reviewed what’s available on the market and selected plans that fit your unique needs. You can read them over at your own pace. Feel free at this point to reach out to your consultant with any additional questions. They’ll be happy to walk you through the different plans they’ve selected via phone or video call.

Once you’ve made a decision, your consultant will take care of the bureaucracy and forward your application to the insurer. You can sign your contract digitally.

3. Digital admin

Like with all Getsafe insurance policies, you’ll find your contract in the Getsafe app. You’ll always have a fixed contact person: your consultant. You can reach them anytime, including via the app.

Why do I need a consultation for some types of insurance?

In contrast to property insurance, which protects your property, your rights or liability risks, personal insurance protects you: your life, your health and your ability to work. These types of insurance include health, income protection (occupational disability), pension and life insurance.
